We've dined here 3 times since their opening, twice while hotel guests during a stay-vacation, and once not as a hotel guest. - AMBIENCE/VIBE - The restaurant is aesthetically attractive, high vaulted ceiling, dim lighting, facing out onto the Boca inlet. It has outside seating which will be very attractive during the right seasons. Contemporary sleek look to the bar, which is tucked off into one end of the main dining room. White table cloths, modern styled silver wear and glass wear. After the sun sets, its got a sexy, romantic feel to it [or was that my 2nd martini and wine kicking in?] Also includes a private dining room (glass walls) which seats about a dozen. The main dining room has a COOL VIBE to it, what I would call "W-Hotel lite" GREAT VENUE FOR A YELP EVENT. - MENU is a collection of SMALL SHARE PLATES which seem to be so popular these days, and simple ENTREES. Emphasis is on locally sourced food, lots of seafood selections. TUNA TARTAR, KALE SALAD, SEARED SCALLOPS, BEET SALAD, and SHRIMP COCKTAIL were all quite good, and nicely plated. I'd pass on the calamari, it was slimy and didn't have one tentacle. SWORDFISH, MAHI MAHI were excellent and good sized portions. The BONELESS GAME HEN was much better than I expected, real crispy. All fish dishes served with a choice of sauces, ginger, lemon oil, thai. None of the entrees come with SIDES, all ordered a la carte, and we enjoyed ZUCCHINI, TRUFFLED MASHED POTATOES, SHAVED BRUSSELS SPROUTS, CREAMED SPINACH. Pass on the truffled fries, they were LIMP! - SERVICE was professionally provided by Edward K., a seasoned gentleman who was attentive while not overbearing. He also had a sharp sense of wit to him, which was appreciated. ALYSSA is the restaurant Assistant food and beverage manager, and does a great job overseeing the operation. BOCA LANDING is a welcome addition to East Boca dining, is still not well known, likely because of its location in the only recently re-opened and re-styled Waterstone Hotel. Management must decide on and proactively target their niche clientele. The former run-down restaurant [Carmen's] was located in the run-down Bridge Hotel, and attracted many residents who live north and south of Camino Real on A1A. These folks are mainly 80+, and I've experienced their complaints about: "why do I have to pay for valet parking?" "the music is too loud", "where is the bread and butter?", "why aren't the salads included with the meal?" and "where is the $5 wine?" PLEASE, MANAGEMENT, YOUR INVESTORS SUPPOSEDLY POURED $10 MILLION INTO RENOVATING THIS PROPERTY - MARKET TO THE AUDIENCE FOR WHOM YOU HAVE DESIGNED IT.

One Thursday to remember. This place has everything but a mixtape, lol. Staff friendly, accessible and unobtrusive throughout meal. Earl was AWESOME!!!!! Guy is just fun to dine with. Great asset to this company. Food was solid and we picked and pulled from several spots.....Mahi/ Salmon/ Oysters/ Scallops, all perfection! Wine selection on point. And of course, Waterfront view! Can't wait to return!!!!

Chef Matthew's new menu is fantastic. Had several new items on the Boca Landing menu including the chef's take on Calamari which was crispy with a hint of spice. The double cut pork chop was grilled perfect and seasoned just right. The risotto is came with was fantastic. Equally great was the New York Strip with a gorgonzola butter. For sides, the Lobster Mac and Cheese was off the hook. Also worth mentioning is the pasta entree which is now featuring homemade pasta! It comes with sausage but we had chicken added as well and we shared it as an appetizer.

Absolutely stellar experience, service and food. I called in advance and asked for a table by the water and we had a lovely seat by the window. Gabriela, our server, was perfect, always refilling water and pacing the small plates perfectly. The food was spectacular! Loved the grilled shrimp, blue crab toasts, lobster skewers, mussels. The flavors and presentation were delightful. The atmosphere was casual chic; the outside seating was plentiful as well.

Enjoyed my dinner here. Went "early-bird" status, so we were one of the first groups here. We sat indoors near a window, which was beautiful to look out at Lake Boca. They offer nice outdoor seating as well, even with some outdoor booths that would probably be nice for a special occasion or romantic evening. The overall atmosphere is trendy and modern, with white table cloths and low lighting. The food is served a la carte, with the main menu seeming to emphasize the small plate portion (it is highlighted in blue, centered on the menu). My party of three got three main plates and three side dishes. Each meat main plate is served with your option of a sauce; I got the salmon with bernaise. Overall it was very tasty. There was still scales on the back of the fish which I get its a fish, but I felt the filet could have been cut with more care. The portion size was smaller than I would have liked. It was seasoned very nicely. The truffled mashed potatoes were good, but were nowhere near as hot as I would have liked (really only the center of the potatoes was hot.) Creamed spinach was good, and the asparagus with bernaise was also good. My two companions seemed to enjoy their food as well, and we all laughed at how we were still hungry. They had a private room, which would looked nice for a large business meeting, private party, or rehearsal dinner. Nice, but would probably return only to check out some of their small plates, which seemed pretty creative and enticing. They also had an epic looking raw-bar tower. I would recommend to someone looking to impress a date in the Boca area, because there is not as much waterfront dining as you would think, and the ambiance will truly impress.

Place is beautiful........great job renovating the hotel. The one star is for the restaurant. Didn't stay at the hotel so can't rate it. The food? Well here you go..........Had lunch and for the price, it definetly wasn't worth it. Had calamari with wasabi sauce, nice combination, could have been tastier but kind of bland. Fish sandwhich was very bland and the carrot cake was certainly not worth the money. If you're expecting a decent sized slice of carrot cake that you get at most places, don't be disappointed when they come out with a piece the size of a hockey puck because that's about all you're going to get. Service very slow, only 2 or 3 tables with guests dining, 1 or 2 waiters and they couldn't handle it. This is definitely a place where you can't judge a book by its cover.

If waterfront dining & a soothing ambience is your thing, I can think of no better spot than Boca Landing.Sitting on Boca Lake ,a basin connecting the Intercoastal to the Atlantic Ocean, you are transported to one of the most romantic settings in southern Florida. Complimenting this Shangri La like setting is a creative menu offered by the Le Cordon Bleu trained executive chef, Matt Mixon....The bar prepared a perfect Negroni, NOT served short with too much ice (a pet peeve of mine)..5 stars for the mixologist. Our table of 4 shared the crispy fried calamari served with red chili pepper aoli/parmesan dipping sauce.4/5 stars Our server, also called Matt suggested the double cut pork chop served with a mushroom risotto...it just doesn't get better than this...5 stars...My wife opted for the scallops which were prepared with porcini mushroom butter which she found enjoyable and I found a bit boring. Our server recommended a multi layer chocolate cake for dessert served wth 2 scoops of ice cream....a perfect finish to a 5 star meal served in a 5 star settimg. Bottom line: Boca Landing is my newest favorite restaurant in the Palm Beach /Boca strip. Can't wait to return.

There are so many different qualities that make dinner at Boca Landing in Boca Raton a truly memorable and exceptional experience. First, the restaurant is positioned right on the waterfront, so on a beautiful clear night you most definitely should have your cocktail and dinner outside. Besides having a spectacular view the food is truly remarkable. Born in Cleveland with an Italian and French background, Chef Matthew Mixon's experience training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris really made him a master chef. Chef Matthew has made it a point to put together a menu that not only offers Florida's favorite dishes, but are also unique and modern at the same time. Now, let's talk about my favorite part, the food. Instead of serving you a basket of bread with butter, Chef Matthew prepares what he calls his version of fish and chips. These are thick-cut potato slices that are fried like chips, and then served with a delicious fish dip. Along with this, you have to order the Gumbas Crispy Fried Calamari as it is very different from the rest. This calamari comes equipped with a red chili pepper aioli tossed with parmesan, pepperoncini and banana peppers. If you would rather something light for dinner then I suggest you try their Fresh Crab, Black Kale, or the Burrata and Arugula Salad, which is my personal favorite. For the main course you have several mouth-watering options. The cool thing about the menu is that everyday Chef Matthew prepares several different specials. When I went I tried the pork belly with cauliflower and corn succotash, and chipotle honey BBQ. Words cannot describe how delicious that plate was. Other meat items I suggest you try is the filet mignon, which comes with a broken foie gras sauce, or the double cut pork chop. Considering that Boca Landing is on the water they also have a great seafood selection. The Jerk Mahi-Mahi is a great dish for those of you who like a little kick to you fish. It also comes on top a bed of mofongo, which is a smashed plantain with yucca in garlic oil. Other great dishes to try are their scallops, and for a side you must eat the Lobster Mac & Cheese. You won't regret it. In case you weren't full already you have to share the Chocolate Beast Cake. It is called the beast cake because it is four layers of chocolate cake, whipped fudge and chocolate ganache. And it is paired with homemade hazelnut and vanilla bean gelato. It's out of this world. Not only does Boca Landing have a delicious dinner menu, they also have an extensive wine collection. With a 150 bottles to choose from you will never run out of options. In addition, their cocktail program is second to none, offering a true, one of a kind, artisanal cocktail program while paying homage to the classics. Featuring an extensive selection of vodkas to high end rums, Boca Landing will be sure not to disappoint. And for those of you who would rather stop by during the day make sure to sit pool side and grab a cocktail at the bar with my friend Orville, who prepares a mean cocktail. My personal favorites are the red and white sangria, and the Cucumber Caipirinha. If you are ever in Boca Raton, or looking for a romantic dinner getaway, I highly recommend you venture out to visit my friends over at Boca Landing. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

I have absolutely no reservations about giving this restaurant five stars. The Executive Chef, Matt Mixon has created a tres actuelle menu and offers well constructed and beautifully plated specials. He also has a gem in his assistant, Jaime. I had some reservations about eating in a Hilton because of past experiences that have left my palate numb, however, from the moment we arrived at their front door I could see that this hotel had a different flair. I counted five available valets to take care of the car and one came over and said, "Well, sir I see a space right there if you prefer to park yourself." He must have seen the little sign on my forehead that say, "Cheapskate". This was a very good start. Lots of bowing and scraping when we entered and I was dressed in shorts, yikes. On to the ever so polite gals at the restaurant's front desk (not to be confused with the hotels's front desk) who offered information about the informal restaurant to the right and the full banana to the left. Despite the shorts I choose the main dining room and am so happy I did. It is very nicely decorated for South Florida; beautiful modern design and a bar that is to die for. I really wanted to go directly to the bar because I had a feeling they might have Bombay Vermouth to go with my Bombay Gin, but my partner said, "Lets not." OK another time. They were very busy and had no outdoor tables or window tables; not a problem because the way they have designed the room allows for a view from every seat. In a flash the very attentive and charming, Jorge appeared and we chatted about the specials. He returned with a marvelous smoked Whitefish dip surrounded by thick cut pommes frite. Both were excellent (the dip has a nice little bite)! Then we tried their mixed platter for two (really good cheeses, salami, prosciutto, duck pate, and wonderful bread (exactly the right consistency) not too soft but not a crouton either. We ordered the crepinette de boeuf; out of this world!! A sort of chicken mix wrapped around a filet and secured with a piece of pork tripe. My guest had the Mustard crusted yellowfin, also exactly right.Desert was a melt in your mouth brownie and hazelut gelati. To my surprise Jorge the creater of the crepinetti appeared and wanted to know if everything was to our liking. This, I thopught, is Palm Beach at the Colony, not Boca. Kudos to the whole staff who made a really memorable meal for us.

Stayed at the hotel. The two dishes I had were killer. The Kale Caesar was a real Caesar with real dressing which means anchovy was a flavor. It was a wet salad loaded with great cheese and excellent croutons. It is large and can be split. The torchio pasta dish is a small plate but is easily a full meal. Honestly was one of the most delicious pasta and meat dishes I have ever tasted. The tomato cream sauce was subtle but had a deep meat base.

The Restraunt is part of a doubletree hotel so We had medium expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with excellent food, service and ambiance. The executive chef obviously know their craft. Highly recommend. Price was fair.

I love this place! I am very impressed with what they have done, it used to be The Bridge hotel which was kind of a dump but now its The Waterstone hotel and its amazing. It is very modern, chic, and classy. It's definitely a very romantic atmosphere and would make a great place to go for a date. I have been to this place a few times now and each time its been excellent. Sitting outside is really really nice, its an amazing view and just gorgeous, however right now its a little too hot to be sitting outside in South Florida, but I am excited to come here in the cooler seasons and sit outside. Sitting inside is just as nice as it is outside because the windows are big and you still get a great view of Boca Lake. It's a very calming and serene place and extremely classy. They have a great, full bar and its nice to sit there and have a glass of wine or even eat at the bar. All of their bartenders and servers that I have experienced are really nice, attentive and on top of it. I really have no complaints. The hostesses are super sweet and cheerful as well which makes me happy. The food is absolutely delicious! They have a bunch of things you can share with people which I like. The petite shellfish platter is to die for, their ceviche and tuna is amazing as well and its just all so fresh and delicious. They also have a great selection of sides, I suggest the brussel sprouts or truffled mashed potatoes, you will love it. If you want fish I highly recommend getting the grilled Mahi Mahi, especially if you want a meatier fish! If you want more of a flakey fish then I would suggest trying the snapper. But to be honest, everything on their menu looks and sounds amazing, and everyone who i have been with at this place has no complaints either and everyone raves about it, especially the fish. I love the way they plate all their food and style everything, its so detailed and perfect. The food presentation is very gorgeous to say the least, I should be their food photographer. All of their salads are also excellent, love the kale salad and beet salad, and looking forward to trying the other ones. If you are looking for a new, upscale, classy, chic, and romantic restaurant to try with a great calming atmosphere and views, then I would definitely come to this restaurant in the waterstone hotel. They have really revamped this entire place and its just amazing. I really am looking forward to coming back. This might just very well be my new favorite restaurant in Boca!

We had our 10 person wedding at Bocas landing and it was perfect. Dan was wonderful to work with. He even created a personalized menu for us and we even had some live music for our first dance. The service was outstanding and we would recommend it for any wedding or event.

I so wanted to like this restaurant! It's in a great location and the renovation looks really nice. However --the food , was really bad. We loved our location sitting outside along Boca Lake (giving it the two stars instead of one) on a Wednesday night - not busy. My husband ordered the New York Strip with gorgonzola butter, medium rare. When it arrived it didn't look very appetizing - the gorgonzola was spread out all over the steak giving it a gray appearance. Worse was that the steak was way overcooked and gristly. The waiter happened by pouring water and we called his attention to the overcooked meat. He offered to replace it, but we didn't want to wait for another sub par steak. Another man came by the table and without saying who he was, said he understood there was someone unhappy at our table and again wanted to bring us another steak, which we declined- I assume he was the manager. I ordered the Chef Specialty, Jerk Mahi Mahi with plantain yuca mofongo. I like Jerk anything but this was so spicy on the first bite it felt like my tongue was burning- then other bites had little or no seasoning. The mofongo was so dry it tasted like breadcrumbs, really no flavor. Also ordered the Parmesan Truffle fries - lots of parmesan, didn't taste truffle oil. We each left 1/2 of our order on our plates. From there, our waiter insisted on bringing us a dessert, which I tried to decline. We were left with a full bill, no apology and really bad feelings about the place. We were hoping to make it a boat destination, but won't be going back.

Went for Fathers Day brunch...hugely overpriced, very minimal offering, didn't have record of my reservation and atmosphere felt like a hospital cafeteria.

Dinner for two - $300. Absolutely nothing special about the food. We sat inside and were treated to a small swarm of flies and fruit flies buzzing around our table all through dinner. Server promised to shut the door to the patio. Never did. No one explained or offered an apology. My "organic farm-raised" salmon was just ordinary at best. Accompanying (tablespoon) of some sort of vegetables could have easily come from a can. Side of Brussels sprouts - small portion and just blah. My friend seemed to enjoy his mixed seafood and rice dish. After dinner, some of the plates were cleared away, some were just left on the table, along with pieces of food left on the table. "Family portion" chocolate cake for dessert - could have easily come from Costco. (I wish it had). Good coffee. Hostesses were lovely and very accommodating. Nice view from outside.
